After losing an entire tube of tropical fish last August due to an electrical problem with the tank, over $2300 in donations were collected to replenish the tank as well as employ certain safeguards to make sure the incident doesn't happen again.
This Sunday, December 19th, at 1pm, the Pier Aquarium will host the Big Tube Fish Restocking Ceremony that begins the two-week process of introducing fish to a communal aquarium environment. The process will commence with the first two fish followed by approximately 50 others over the two-week period.
After the restocking, stick around for The Pier's Annual Holiday Stroll with a chance to win $1000 in presents, live music, FREE caricature drawings by Lars-Eric Robinson from 1-4pm and an appearance by Santa from 2-5pm.
