Beer lovers rejoice – Beers on the Pier is back this Saturday! Hosted by the St. Petersburg Museum of History, Beers on the Pier is a celebration of all things boozy and historic, showcasing more than 20 breweries alongside the incredible museum.

The event takes place at the St. Petersburg Museum of History on Saturday, July 29, from 7-10 pm, and tickets for the popular event are available now. Guests will be able to enjoy unlimited sampling from breweries both local and national, including Tampa Bay favorites like Cycle Brewing, 7venth Sun, Cigar City, BarrieHaus, St. Pete Brewing, Mastry’s and more.

Meanwhile, some of the nation’s most historic and celebrated breweries will be serving up beer, including New Belgium, Lagunitas, and Sierra Nevada. There will also be regional stars such as Georgia’s Terrapin Brewing, Louisiana sensation Abita Brewing, and legendary Maine favorite Allagash.

In addition to the beer, all tickets include access to the St. Pete Museum of History and its galleries, complete with a 3,000-year-old mummy and the world’s largest signed baseball collection. It’s a fitting pair because, as the museum notes, beer first arrived on Florida’s shores with the Spanish some 500 years ago.

Proceeds from Beers on the Pier benefit the St. Petersburg Historical Society, with the event being put on in part by local distributor J.J. Taylor and Yuengling. General admission tickets, which include unlimited sampling and museum entrance, are $40, available here. Must be 21+ to attend Beers at the Pier.

“We’re excited to partner with J.J. Taylor to bring Beers on the Pier back to the Museum of History,” said Museum Executive Director Rui Farias. “Craft beer has a deep history in Florida, and it’s only fitting to share these beers in a 101-year-old museum!”
