A group of St. Pete’s most prolific artists have been showcasing their work on buildings in the city for years. Now, they have their own brick and mortar to permanently share their creations – this time in a more portable form.

The Vitale Bros. have opened Overspray at 1934 2nd Avenue South, a retail shop and gallery packed full of prints, shirts, stickers and more featuring designs and illustrations by the celebrated artistic team. Hours may change, but currently the store is open daily from 9 am – 6 pm, sharing a space in the Warehouse Arts District with St. Pete Biking Tours.

Dubbed “Tampa Bay’s Street Art Gallery & Apparel, the colorful shop is exactly what you’d expect from The Vitale Bros, a love letter to St. Pete and its arts community in the cheeky and edgy style the duo are known for. The space is not only packed wall to wall, but floor to ceiling, with designs even hanging from the balcony.

During the soft opening phase, Overspray has prints, magnets, shirts, stickers and more featuring some of their most loved designs over the years, as well as new creations celebrating St. Pete and the culture of graffiti and murals. In in the future, Overspray plans to soon have graffiti supplies available in the store, and the shop will also soon begin hosting events in its eclectic space.

Our favorites are the Rays Misfits mashup shirts, though you’ll find icons from across the city and throughout history featured, from Salvador Dali and Marilyn Monroe to the Vitale brothers themselves. Follow Overspray on Instagram for more.
