Actress and model Eugenie Bondurant has enjoyed a wonderful career in film. The St. Pete artist has appeared in blockbuster films such as Hunger Games: Mockingjay, and The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It. Bondurant also recently starred alongside Kathryn Heigl and Harry Connick Jr. in Fear of Rain, which filmed right here in the Sunshine City and screened for multiple weeks at Greenlight Cinema. Bondurant’s latest project, outside of the acting class she teaches at Greenlight Cinema, is “Werewolf by Night,” a new Marvel film hitting the streaming platform Disney+ this October.

Bondurant stars as a lichen named Linda. The black-and-white film represents Marvel’s foray into the classic horror genre. The film follows a lycanthrope superhero who fights crime using the abilities given to him by a curse brought on by his bloodline. Bondurant stars alongside Gael García Bernal, Laura Donnelly, and Harriet Sansom Harris.

Hallmark and Lifetime bring film projects to the ‘Burg

The first original scripted series developed by destination marketing organizations for streaming services, the show follows the life of Dan Kinney, played by actor Sebastian Rocha as he adjusts to an unexpected shift in lifestyle and circumstance. A privileged son of a high-profile wealth manager, Dan had it easy, until he waged everything on a big gamble and lost.

Hallmark has filmed myriad original movies in the Tampa Bay region. The area’s versatile array of downtown, and tropical settings, and a film commission ready to assist with securing permits, and locations for projects, continue to make it one of the most desirable places to shoot in Florida.
